anyone know why when i do a search for my site under keywords buying gifts the listing always changes..sometimes im there other times im not..and when i mean im not i mean i dont come up in the index at all and when i do im number 1 or 2..this depends on the number of results it says it finds..

very very frustrating..btw yahoo emailed me and said im not blocked or anything, which seems to be a first to get any response from them.

Are you actually seeing these two different sets of results at different times on the same computer with the same brower? I am asking because it seems you can have a cookie that controls which results you get from Yahoo. Some time back, people were even seeing Google's results on Yahoo, which stopped when they cleared their cookies (see: [webmasterworld.com...] More recently, I was reproducibly served two different sets of results from Yahoo (neither one similar to Google's results) from the same computer, depending whether I used the IE/Avant browser or Firebird. This stopped again when I deleted my cookies. It's disturbing because you don't know what most other people are actually getting...

Yes this seems to be "normal".
This happens to me as well, and itīs not a cockie problem.
They seems to split new sites on 2 diferent datacenters, and twey switch datacenter now and then.
My homepage is only in one of the center so I am in and out, when homepage is out I have other pages in.

Happening here too.

>They seems to split new sites on 2 diferent datacenters
Any ideas on how long it takes for listings for new sites settle?

no idea,
I had at least 2 deep spiderings on about 280 pages,
the first was several weeks ago.
have actually 16 pages on one database and 22 on the other.
The last days my hompepage been on both centers, but today dropped from one of them...........
