I also posted this on the Overture forum

I run an Asia travel site for backpackers and independent travellers. In the past I've been getting reasonable clickthroughs and impressions from adverts through Overture that have been being displayed up to a week ago, in a pretty well targetted fashion through the Asia related pages of Yahoo's travel guide.

A few days ago all these adverts disappeared and my impressions with Overture have dropped by about 50%.

I contacted Overture and they maintain the adverts are there and suggested I clear cache etc. I did that but still no adverts - my competitors adverts are there - just not mine. I had friends in the UK and Australia check (I'm in Cambodia) - no adverts

It strikes me, I'm getting ditched from Yahoo because their travel content partner (see the link at the bottom of their travel content pages) and I produce very similar content - in both cases the content is original (my wife used to write content for the other mob - ha), but how different does a 100 word restaurant review need to be to be considered different content from what is already on Yahoo (and served by yahoo coincidently)as per their increasingly bizarre idea of a quality site.

Any thoughts?
