SiteMatch and Doorway Pages

SiteMatch says no to Doorway Pages, But what if that's the only way?

Hey Everyone,

According to the SiteMatch guidelines [content.overture.com], "Pages dedicated to directing the user to another page ("doorway pages")" are off limits.

However, we have a web site that is all Flash (content, navigation images are all in one big Flash file) that is nowhere on SERPs. We figured we could at least have HTML doorway page that leads (not auto-directs) the user to the Flash site - and have it indexed by SiteMatch. But, this seems to be prohibited by SiteMatch.

Any suggestions on what to do? Has anyone had similar experiences? Are SiteMatch guidelines strictly adhered to?

SiteMatch Guidelines are quite strict. I have seen instances where a redirection is used for tracking purposes (via a third party external server) and this is disallowed.

What about putting up a HTML Page introduction page, which then links to various parts of your flash site? Not an automated redirect but a static home page of your current version.

Feel free to sticky me your URL and I will look into it.
