OK, it's the 12th and Slurp is nowhere in my logs, visited 13 times last month. Anyone else running into this? 60 visits from G, 55 from MSN, 15 from Alexa, but no Slurp to be seen, should I be worried?

I've been penalized, but I still get slurped.
I think I did PFI for this domain though.

Did you do Inktomi PFI or OSM?

Inktomi - may explain why you aren't getting Yahoo! traffic. Inktomi customers don't get Yahoo! traffic.

OSM - are you getting MSN traffic? AV or Fast? If yes, unlikly you have a penalty.

Are you stil ranking in Yahoo!? If you search for your main keywords, has your ranking decreased? Do you still show up at all?

'Did you do Inktomi PFI or OSM?'
Don't know what these means...
I use Google Adwords as a way to drive traffic and adsense on the site. I am listed in Yahoo if I do a search for the site all of the pages that existed 3 weeks ago when last Slurped show up.

You said you did PFI for those pages.

That is Pay for Inclusion. The old Inktomi PFI.

This has been replaced by Overture Site Match, which provides organic results to Yahoo! and various other protal partners.

So if you are in Inktomi PFI, you may not be included in OSM, because you haven't paid to receive that.

How are you checking your site is in Yahoo!? Simply doing a search for your domain name will not work. Try searching for your web page title and see where you rank.

And finally, Google Adwords will have nothing to do with getting traffic from Yahoo! You would need to be doing Overture Precsion Match to be getting Paid Placement on Yahoo!

For my one domain I did Ink PFI, when Yahoo was still Inktomi. I've been penalized...I still retain some rankings but the major ones I am gone or moved to fifth page...

Just as a point, PFI is per URL not domain.

So if you used submitted www.mydomain.com then your home page would be in the PFI prgoram and not the entire site.
