Incorrect domain found in Yahoo searches

a common misspelling of our domain is all that shows up

We have a site in which the domain name contains a word that has a common misspelling, so we purchased the domain name with the misspelling and have it pointing to the proper (and spelled correctly) domain.

Since Yahoo split from Google, only the misspelled url gets results in Yahoo and we are nowhere to be found using our keywords, most of which have a top 10 listing in Google and have for more then a year.

Could this be some form of penalty?

Thanks...

Suppose thatīs their 301 problem is not fixed yet,
they only included 1, and took the wrong one
