I am wondering whether it is worth paying the money for being listed in the Yahoo Directory?
I have two sites with equal PR on different topics with similar amounts of traffic. The one NOT in the Yahoo Directory gets 6x more traffic from the search.yahoo.com searches than the one that is in the Yahoo directory. Both sites get a similar amount of visits from uk.search.yahoo.com.
Having said that the one that is in the Yahoo Directory in the UK section gets 5x more traffic from google.co.uk than the one that isn't and almost 2x from google.com.
There will be plenty of other factors for these trends. Does any one else see similar trends with Google?
