Is there any reason to think that a site may not be accepted into Yahoo! Express because of AdSense ads being served throughout the site?

No that should not matter. I submitted a site last week where I had adsense on all pages except home page and it was accepted without any problem. The site is a content rich site and adsense was displayed in the right hand side vertical bar.

It shouldn't ... unless of course it was counting those as "duplicate content". ;-)
