Hi guys, I'm trying to do a paid submission but on the last page where you enter your credit card info and billing address I get an error that says, "Yahoo rejected transaction - check address (403)" This makes no sense at all. Here is a screenshot of the page so maybe you guys can help me find out what's wrong. Of course the credit card info has been replaced with X's for obvious reasons.

Hmm, any problem with the credit card?

No, credit card works fine. I've used it for lots of other things like submitting to LookSmart.

The "403" comment may be misleading, as we often think of that as a URL error, which is not the case in this instance. What they're referring to is their internal error code, not an internet thingy.

I know this may sound basic, and I don't mean to insult you by insinuating that you didn't think of it, but did you give your EXACT billing name and billing address (as listed on your statement)?

The way they verify credit cards is by matching those, so if you leave spell North West when it's listed on the statement as NorthWest or NW, you could be causing a problem.

You might also try another credit card. I've had to do that in the past.

I should also send out my thanks to your firm, as you got me a hefty amount of money last year, although I am not allowed to discuss details. :)

Ah, thanks Laisha. It went through. I was using the wrong address.

That's cool that you were one of our clients last year. :)

*G has an open mouth stare at Laisha*

Jeez...Is there anyone you *don't* know? It boggles my mind.

Although the credit card exact address thing is a good tip to remember.

I wish I could pretend I'm a genius, but I'm not. I used to be AOL technical support, remember? Need I expound upon how many calls come in about problems with signing up with credit cards? :)
