Possible that a redirect is causing a penalty?

I have a directory site that links out to other websites. The site ranks very well in Google, but poorly on Yahoo (the index page is actually missing in Yahoo for some reason).

The link to our partner websites goes to a redirect through our site so that we can track the clicks to each link. The problem, it seems, is that a search for site:mysite.com in Yahoo, shows that these external sites are listed under our domain because of the redirect. e.g., [mysite.com...] will be listed as the URL for the website of our directory partner, when this is clearly not the case (the url should be [theirsite.com)....] Could this be a cause of penalty on Yahoo?
