Take a look. It looks like they tried to shorten the page with a smaller font size. Not a fan.

Since this is only the second post in a week we've gotten talking about a new Y! layout, I think it's safe to say that they are testing on a very small number of users.
Google did the same thing for close to a year before they rolled out their current look.
