Max number of URLs to submit a day

Because Slurp! is not going deep enough

Hi!

Does anyone have any idea as to how many pages are allowed to be submitted per day? I know that Yahoo states that they will crawl through the site, but it is not going deep enough.

Hi Shannon, I'm guessing you mean for free. Tim mentioned somewhere not to do too many. I would be very very careful as Yahoo can be trigger happy about penalizing sites. So I would only submit a couple of domains per day and focus on getting links to your sites, that's the best way to get crawled and indexed for free.

You are very brave if you are submitting via free. IMHO it is too easy for Yahoo to find a penalty on one of your submissions and map it to all of your other pages and thus penalize all of your pages.

I only work on getting inbound links from pages already listed in Yahoo.

2_much, you are right, i'm referring to free.

The reason why I asked this is because there is a recent decrease in the number of pages being indexed on Yahoo! and also from my findings, i realized that slurp is not going deep enough.
