I found the article on the their homepage and it says MSN wins because of less spam and less bad results. Seems like a pretty critical article, perhaps an interesting read.

I guess, a link to the article can't hurt.

Microsoft Search better than Google:

Google is known as the best search engine. Not any more. A recent detailed test (by CHIP) shows that Google's search result quality decreases dramatically. It often returns just advertising garbage, useless shopping sites, old and expired informations or just dead links ...MSN wins the test because of limited spam in its results.

I personally don't see CHIP magazine as an authority, though. It's geared more towards end users rather than professionals and it's often biased. It would be interesting to investigate any affiliation with Yahoo ...

Yahoo is not getting away much better than Google so I wouldn't think that there is a affiliation with Yahoo!

As (since Florida) I heard more and more (ordinary) people asking what happend with Google and why the results are not as good as they were this is just a confirmation of that.

GoogleGuy should get a translated copy in case that Google Germany doesn't report back such articles.

Besided: personally I haven't bought CHIP for some time but I still think it has a strong influence on the German speaking market (at least for companies that depend on people using a PC...).
