We have been told that a site that is found by the free crawler will remain in serps after April 15. I am curious why the free crawler can't find listings in it's own (Yahoo's) directory? Why would a site listed in the Yahoo directory be excluded from the serps? Anyone else experience this?

From what I've heard the only reason why the site would be excluded is if it triggers spam filters. Any way this could've happened to your site?

triggers? i think thats a strong word. It would seem only if they selectively looked at your site for a reason that has not yet become apparent and the subjective judgement on a quick glance made of whether they like or dislike your site. Until such time as it can be explained why small time marginal sites can be exclued and big time pro spammers flourish then this is not a filter triggered event.
