A few facts:
I have a .com site hosted in the UK with one Inktomi PFI page.
Yahoo! Slurp crawls my site regularly, and searching with site:http://www.domain.com shows most (several hundred) of my pages including recently changed pages.
But I only get one result for keyword searches in uk.search.yahoo.com or US search.yahoo.com, and that is for my Inktomi page.
However Keyword searches at hk.search.yahoo.com and cn.search.yahoo.com return all the pages I tested, and I get traffic from them.
I don't see how I could have incurred a penalty because Yahoo crawls and indexes my site, and I have also received a reply to my email to the webmasterworld feedback address stating "There are no current indications that your pages have been blocked from the Yahoo! index."
I am at a loss as to what is happening.
There was some mention in earler threads that inclusion in Inktomi excluded you from Yahoo. Is there any truth in this?
Can I ever expect to see results from the US or UK? I get Google traffic from all over the world so I can only assume it is a Yahoo technical issue that is stopping me getting the same results from Yahoo.
How about it Tim and Mike - you must know the answer.
