linkdomain:widgets.com doesn't work anymore. However, link:widgets.com does.

Is this new?
Because AFAIK, Yahoo! used to use the 'linkdomain:' just like 2 or 3 days ago (if I wasn't in dreamland at the time).

Hmm.... I can't get link: to work now, only linkdomain. Maybe it was a hiccup in the system.

Yahoo's results are MUCH different than G's and ATW's. They seem more complete... Interesting.

link: donīt work for me either....

actually here they tell to use link:
[help.yahoo.com...]

link: this allows one to find documents that link to a particular url.
Example: link:http://autos.yahoo.com/

Just now I noticed, like Helen said, it looks like theres a confusion here:
linkdomain:www.yahoo.com - 11,200,000
linkdomain:http://www.yahoo.com - 0
linkdomain:yahoo.com - 117,000,000

link:www.yahoo.com - 25,900
link:http://www.yahoo.com - 10,400,000
link:yahoo.com - 2,500

Which one to believe?

The linkdomain command gives you the pages that link not only to your front page, but also to any other page on your site. It's very useful.
