It comes up Number 6 now - after close to 2 years at being number 1. (Off the subject - we are still number one in Google for the same phrase and also number 1 in MSN).
So, a bit disappointed at being number 6 now in Y! - I am trying to figure it out.
One thing I am unsure of is if we are atill in the Y! directory.
When our site comes up it no longer has the :
Category: ******** > ******
underneath the description like it used to do - which links directly to its place in the directory.
Our competitor - who is the only other listing in the Y! directory for this - still have their link stating the category it is in.
Now, they feature Number 2 for the Y! search whereas they used to be 6.
Strange! - but althought the Category link under my listing has gone, when I go into the directory itself I see our company still there.
I cannot remember if we were charged the $299 last year and have searched my records for it without success.
I have called a support number for Y! that I was given the last time I had trouble with listings but no-one has gotten back to me.
All I want to know is - is my Category link missing for a reason and is it this that is the reason for my drop in placement - or is it just a coincidence.
Any thoughts, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
