Hi,

Does anybody remember when Yahoo! started "recurring annual fee of US$299" for its Directory Listing?

Also, if recurring annual fee would not be paid, the site would be dropped from the listing?

Thank you,

Thanks cbpayne!

So the "recurring annual fee" started at the same time as Yahoo! raised Yahoo! Express service costs following the LookSmart raised the review fee $199 to $299?

Otherwise, the annual fee system was introduced before the raise in fee?

Thanks,

I think one time fees were $299.00 for a while before they started a recurring fee. Around Dec 2001 sticks in my mind as the time the change was made to recurring fees but couldn't say for sure.

Thanks a lot, everybody!

In Japan, it is still one time fee only and commercial site owner still can select free submission and review.
