I have a site which due to many subdomains has been penalized by yahoo for about 2 years. The site is quite legit and does very well in google. A few months back most of the subdomains were removed and replaced with a path type structure. I then sent email to Tim requesting a look. In the past few weeks I've been seeing a slow and steady increase in pages listed (~100 per day) when doing a site:domain.com yahoo search. Problem is that these pages remain burried at the bottom of the search and could only be found using a quoted exact phrase search. Does anyone know if this increase in listed pages will eventually result in a lifting of the penalty? Is it just a matter of waiting? In addition, our PFI pages rank quite well in yahoo- I thought they weren't supposed to be treated any differently.
