"Oops!" Yahoo Search Feeling the Strain?

Search engine keeps crashing ...

"Oops! We ran into a temporary problem while performing your search. Please try your search again."

Anyone else seeing this on Yahoo search? First of all Yahoo was incredibly slow, now it doesn't even get to the end goal 9 times out of 10.

I would really like to hear from Yahoo why they didn't test out their new search index and algorithm on Altavista or Alltheweb before the switch from Google. It's left them making on the fly changes to their biggest investment.

I think it's an update of some sort in process. I'm seeing new pages added to the index.

Sometimes this happen during an update or soemthing. For me Yahoo is fine.
