Yahoo PFI Influence Site Indexing?

Hi all,

I am a big fan of this forum but it is my first post. Wanted to see what people have seen in the "real world" regarding whether or not submitting to Yahoo PFI for a few URLs will boost the crawl for the rest of the site. I know that Yahoo indicated it would not.

I am considering submitting the site map as one of the URLs to encourage crawling-- is this a waste of time?

I was thinking to do the same thing.

Has Yahoo mention that it is not going to crwal the other pages if we submit one page from a website to Site Match?

This is something really interesting to figure out. Inktomi used to crawl the other pages when submit one page from a website.

I think there is a better chance of getting crawled by Yahoo when one page is listed in Yahoo.
