We had moved part of our site to another domain with 301 redirects. Google picked this up with no problem, and the pages promptly got indexed showing the new domain/URL in the SERPS as expected.

I see in Yahoo, however, that the same 301 redirects keep the original url listing on the Yahoo SERPS, but they do successfully go to the redirected domain/urls.

So the Yahoo SERPS listing shows:

Title
Description
URL: h**p://www.olddomain.com/old_url.htm

But it is taking the user to the correct page:

h**p://www.newdomain.com/new_url.htm

and it is correctly caching the new page. Since 301's are permanent redirects, shouldn't Yahoo also be listing the new domain/url in the SERPS as well, rather than keeping the old no longer necessary domain/url?

Yes, they should list the new URL.
