Lots of new pages in the index, major changes in the serps, many redirects removed... and what seems like a return of some oddball penalties for pages that were lifted recently.

Ignoring that last part though... Bravo to Yahoo for what appears to be a very significant increase in free crawled pages from three domains I've been tracking since the AddURL was added.

Serps seem a little awash in the new stuff, so maybe they will dance around a bit.

Change "many redirects" above to "some redirects"... lots still showing

Great and weird.

Looks like Google to me, new site with 22,000 new pages showing notitle, nodescr syndrome, almost identical listing as with G site:widgets.com...

Glad something is moving the right direction there...

Hmm, I'm still seeing a lot of redirects.

Yep incorrect penalty on my site was lifted too.

Still not seeing some deep content that was added several weeks ago. But changes to existing content is showing up in the serps.

Good for Y!

I can't get any searches on Yahoo. Man they did not plan this well.

I think the actual search engine itself is pretty good. Of course there are some spammy sites, mainly in the affiliate and big money areas, but that's the case with all engines. They compare well with Google, and even surpass them in a few searches. I'm using them more and more.

Ok, what happened? This morning, I looked and my penalized pages were back, my new content was showing, etc...

Then early afternoon until now it appears the index has gone back to the way it was yesterday and before.

Any clues? Am I just hitting a datacenter that hasent been updated yet?

Anyone know whether Yahoo has stopped giving its feed to MSN because lately these two show different results, and I dont think MSN is using Y Slurp any more...

seen in forum paid inclusion engine:
[webmasterworld.com...]
that they will use looksmart know and then, but donīt understand if they means looksmarts websearch or paid directory........

Hey Guys:

Same here.... This morning I was looking at some good SERP's....

Later this afternoon back to previous day results, and now...back to this morning....

Additionally, as of this morning we are showing up on MSN and haven't ranked well in about a year....

Does anyone know or have heard what is going on?
