I would really like to see Yahoo clear up some of the issues surrounding PFI/PPC. Please post only questions and we will hope that Tim or someone from Yahoo will answer them.

No ranting and no pot shots are Tim or Yahoo.

Questions:

1. Define "public sites" - does that term include all accessable sites on the Internet or just ones providing information with no commercial value?

2. What will happen to the current Overture model? If it continues will the results continue to sit on top of your index with your additional paid results below them?

3. Are you going to just hit peoples credit cards every month or are people going to have to fund the program with what they are willing to spend?

4. Since PFI didn't work for Inktomi in the long run, why did you pick this model over Google's adSense idea.

Again - let's confine this to questions only and see what Yahoo has to say...

5. What happens when you sign for PFI and then, cancel it. Will the pages remain in the indices?

6. Would there be any stand-alone PFI rather than PPC+PFI?

7. Is Yahoo planning an XML feed or will each customer have to add each page individually - like Amazon or Edmunds?
