We are sat here in the UK waiting patiently for the new yahoo serps to appear. No one knows when its going to happen and we dont seem to know what kind of results are likely to appear - given that there may be a geographical spin thrown in for good measure.

Are we likely to see the same .com results in the UK version? If so I can certainly say that in my sector there will be 40 US sites to wade through before any UK services appear.

Are we going to see the same adjustments as msn.co.uk where the geo-targetting is stringent?

** TIM ** - any tidbits of info would be gratefully received by the UK mob who are sitting here biting their nails and wondering whats going to happen to the one third of traffic they might lose (or gain) post Google.

I have no clue when the switch will occurr, but I'm guess they'll want to iron out all the kinks in the .com before they start exporting results.

I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of geotargetting and the results will be different per country tld. I believe they do browser language detection as well as IP detection, and probably also by tld.
