Hi,

I just jumped too 500 + hits a day on one of my sites. Is this probly a fluke and about how long do they take to get corrected.

I don't understand, what's the problem? Is that not what you were going for?

Chances are you hit a better rank in the SERPs and people are finding your site. Check your logs to see where people are comming from.

There are several programs you can use, and some hosting services offer free stats and access to logs.

I build my sites using ASP so I simply grab the Server Variables and write them to a comma separated text file that I can open with excel.

Check the tracking and logging forum for tips on watching your traffic
