Has Yahoo has made the switch?

I wasn't expecting the switch so soon, looks like the race has begun..

Over the past few days, a client has msg'd me that he was receiving different rankings between Yahoo and Google, at first I thought that he may have cached the old google.. but after some verification with Positiontech's search page the switch has definitely been made on some Yahoo servers.

Although I still see the Google returns at my office, my client is already receiving Inktomi.. Am I excited? definitely, I've always ranked well on both Inktomi and Google so this is one move I'm not worried about..

Goodluck everyone!

It's true. I was a bit skeptical at first, but positiontech's search engine is reporting the same rankings as Yahoo is on some of it's servers.

From last week:

Yahoo rolling out more Inktomi [webmasterworld.com]?
percentages going up

I posted before that I was seeing Inktomi in my Yahoo SERPS and it appeared to be IP based since it was definately Ink at home and Google at my office computer.

And there's this thread [webmasterworld.com] from January 15th:
Yahoo Says It will Switch to Inktomi First Quarter

The race hasn't begun, they're just walking the horses to the paddock. ;) Y
