I was looking at paying the $600 to list my site in yahoo adult directory section and while cruising the areas, I found 4 sites that are listed that have expired domains / or are up for sale.

one domain i really liked so i offered the guy $25 for it and he transfered it to me. My question: Will the url stay in the yahoo directory listing? or will i still need to pay $600 to have it listed? Does this really help in bringing in traffic? Can i point the new site to my current site and still take advantage of the listing?

thank you!
Kendra

You could guess whether it is a free entry or not (I suspect that adult entries were not free) but its age. Look up archive.org to see how old it is. Sites (non-adult) I know that got in before 1999 are still there.

Adult listings are not all paid. Many are grandfathered in.
