Yahoo News now has XML RSS feeds available for its searches. I don't mean just RSS feeds for categories which was introduced months ago, but "subscribable" searches!

I think this is very beta because it flakes in and out of service at times.

Take any search you do here:
[search.news.yahoo.com...]

And you can now "subscribe" to the results. Example:
[search.news.yahoo.com...]

Interesting news, i could use that. I did not see it on the site though, just tried.

I found some RSS feeds though, perhaps it's old news: [news.yahoo.com...]

No, one more time for clarification. Yahoo has had category RSS feeds for a few months. Getting RSS feeds for any search results is very new and very beta.

Very slick too. Can you imagine having this for Google news? Not likely to happen. Shows you how Yahoo is trying to compete. I don't know how they will prevent this from being abused. Maybe lockdown of requests per IP per day.

Wow, no one finds this interesting? Or did I dupe a previous post?

No this is new because you can literaly create your own RSS feed for any search.

Before this you could only use their RSS feed for each specific category.

I guess its just more of interest to bloggers than commercial webmasters.
