Yahoo CA submission

Submit to yahoo.ca for free - get listed in .com?

Someone told me that I could submit to Yahoo Canada (I'm in the USA) for free and that would get me listed in the main Yahoo DB. I see that the free USA listing is for non-commercial sites but the free Canadian listing doesn't impose such a requirement. Is this accurate or with they see that we're not a Canadian site and ignore us.

Would be great if we could do that, but is it really free to list commercial sites at Yahoo.ca?

You can list for a one-off fee at Yahoo.co.uk instead of having to pay recurring annual amount. However, we are genuinely based in the UK and don't know if foreigners could submit at Yahoo.co.uk and get international sites listed. The UK sites we submit via Yahoo UK also appear in the global Yahoo.com directory.
