Can I submit more than one page to Yahoo! ?

Is it ok to submit subdomains to search engines ?

Can I submit my subdomains to Yahoo, or I only need to submit my main page and Yahoo! will index the rest of the site for me ? I dont feel like being put on a "black list", would Yahoo! or other search engines let me submit more than one page from the same site ? or is it considered spamming ?

Anybody with a suggestion ? I asked Yahoo's support without any success.

I'm no expert with yahoo but I beleave you can only submit the root, if your looking to try and get other pages/search terms with yahoo, then try submitting to google.

As with yahoo only submit the root but google (googlebot) will spider the site.

Hi Laszlo,

Tedres had a good comment here [webmasterworld.com...] where he posted experience with getting more than one listing per domain. In my experience, it is the exception rather than the rule unless you have a large site and some content heavy, niche subdomains, perhaps with unique content that Yahoo would find useful. Yahoo is a directory and most directories only take one listing per domain. The other spidering engines (AltaVista, Google, Excite, FAST, Inktomi engines) will eventually spider your entire site. Google, FAST, and Excite have always spidered my entire site if I submit the home page and the home page has links out to the other pages. AltaVista I always submit each page I want indexed at 1 or 2 per day to them. Would you mind telling me just one more thing...? I promise I will visit that forum you mentioned, but while I'm here I might as well ask this......
My site is listed with Yahoo! but only with the webpages and not amongst the websites.
Do I have to keep resubmitting my site, or just fill out their "change form".

Somehow Yahoo! do not explain these things very well.

That means your web page is in google's index, yahoo pulls results that are not in their index from google

websites=yahoo directory

so you are not as yet listed in yahoo's directory

You used to be able to get multiple pages listed, but not any more. They have only listed root domains for about the last 2.5 years.
