Some secret way to get in?

Hello,
Reading in one of a zillion SEO newsletters that I get, trying to keep abreast of matters, I stumbled on this by a prominentisimo promoter guy:

"if you wanted to be listed in Yahoo!, it would probably take you some time to figure out the connection between it and Overture and work out the details. That can be a mystery for those without a clue - yet that is one of the easiest ways!"... not tellin' who or where, but I will if asked.

I'm looking for an explanation of this. I am one of "those without a clue". Is there some way to "work out the details" in this relationship between Yahoo and Overture, and in so doing get into Yahoo in "one of the easiest ways"?

The connection between Yahoo and Overture is that Y serves O's Pay per clicks.

If you want in Yahoo's directory for additional traffic and page rank it will cost $299 for express inclusion.

There is no Overture back door into Yahoo's Directory.

I am sure you know Yahoo default search is provided by Google.

I hope this helps, as I think you might of been after an answer (treasure) that does not exist.
