Yahoo Shopping Bag under our search listing

It was never there before, why now?

We just did a search on Yahoo for the single word keyword that is our business, and found ourselves on the top unsponsored spot. In recent months we have been between 2 and 4 so this was a pleasant but not shocking suprise.

What was different about this was that below the more sites about X link, was the Yahoo Shopping bag icon and link. Clicking on the icon launches our site in a frame with the Yahoo shopping header on top of it. You can then go through the whole process and checkout through our site and the Yahoo shopping header is there the whole time.

We had done a Yahoo shopping site over 2 years ago, and our contract with them expired so we are under no agreement with Yahoo for this. I have also looked through Yahoo shopping for our site and could not find it.

Has anyone experienced this before or have any idea what Yahoo is up to? I know search is a big focus for them this year and that they are tinkering around with things, but framing their shopping header over other sites without an agreement is a little much.

Well, at least you can use javascript to escape that one - Ask still frames sites yes? So does about...?

It's a bit much, imho, the cache that they use on Yahoo now - complete with graphical logo & everything.

A frame, at least, there is a quick & easy solution YOU can implement to get out of it.

If enough of Yahoo's customers complain, I would expect it to change, but they could be just doing a temporary test.
