Actually, Slurp doubled the # of visits of Googlebot so far this month- and I was deep crawled by Google already.
Does anyone know how often Ink updates? Is it monthly like Google? Or is it all speculation until Y! starts to use their results?
TIA

If I search for 'mydomain' I find my index page is listed and I am found in 4 links.
However, I don't think Ink indexed my full site as Google has because on all the SERP's I come up on top at- I am nowhere to be found.
I wonder what Ink is going by as far as who to crawl and how deep and how often?
My site is newly indexed and just a lowly PR3 and lower site. Seems sorta odd for Slurp to crawl me 2x as much as Google. So, it would seem linkage isn't much of an issue for these "initial" crawls.
I guess Y! wants the freshest deepest index to start out with.
Uh- I hate to break it to the Ink folks- but their SE is busted.
I just did a search for a clients industry and it's highlighting completly unrelated words as if I searched for something else entirely.
AH- hang on. OK- I just clicked off the DOC TYPE as HTML and got proper results.
So, what the heck does it bring up when you leave all unchecked?
WAIT. This engine is just wacky. I just searched my clients 'industry company' WITh the DOC TYPE as HTML and got completely unrelated results. ?
In order to get relevant results I had to UNcheck the DOC TYPE for this SERP.
WHAaaaaaaaaaaat?
OK- I just clicked search again and this time it worked properly with or without DOC TYPE checked off.
There better be an "InkGuy" or two around here soon to start answering questions and offering round-a-bout advise as GoogleGuy does.
If Ink's results DO take over the default Y! search it will be a HUGE deal.
Inkguy? InkGal? Where for art thou?
