just reinforced to me that Looksmart is toast as long as they stay with their current business model which is substantially driven by PFI, wisenut acquisition or not.

So far Looksmart beusiness model has been supplying PPC links to partners. However, if Looksmart actually thinks Wisenut is a third generation search engine, then they are clueless. Wisenut is a totally crappy search engine. To be honest, I couldn't see why anyone would have wanted to buy Wisenut. Obviously they are clueless. I can only hope this guy at Looksmart was intentionally lying to an interview about how rotten Wisenut is, and understands the truth. Although, I'd have thought he'd try to avoid mentioning Wisenut considering how pathetic it is today.
