Can anyone with tell me if the yahoo
editors will reject my site that has a short flash intro
page as the actual 1st page?

The page will auto forward to the "home" page when
the intro complete's or you click the "skip intro".

Thanks for any help or advice.

Hey Wrmarino welcome to WebmasterWorld. ;)

Will not be a problem - what-so-ever.

I would however, recommend for not loading the Flash intro "onclick".

The design assumes visitors will only come in once... as the same intro would play each time a visitors returns and the need to "hit" that skip intro button, a big annoyance.

A better direction might be upselling the "want" to click to view a show of your product/service.

Telling anyone to "skip" anything is not good marketing.

Additionally, remove the need to introduce technology - be more up-beat about the product/service.

E.g. -- Check out what others rave about.

For your viewing

(PRODUCT/SERVICE NAME) ... see it, believe it. (see it to believe)

Something along those lines... give people a "need" to click and they will, but the current "need to click" is for avoidance.
