I wonder when does Yahoo update websites, I wanna submit to yahoo directory, and I have no clue when my site will appear higher that it is now in Yahoo.

Yahoo updates the webpages right after the google update.
The directory gets updated about once a month at sporadic time. This also depends on your keywords.
