Big yellow ad boxes on right side?

Barnes & Noble seems to appear no matter what your search happens to be (ok, so I only did about half a dozen searches, but still....).

With some categories, obviously "paid sponsor" type ads are appearing...and they're really BIG ads...not just the typical 12 sentence google type of ad and certainly not "cut and paste" ad submissions from Overture.

Have I missed a post on this topic? I've tried to find info on yahoo as to how to "buy" into this apparently new ad system but can't find squat.

I know someone in this forum knows the answer--sorry if this is repeated question for info--I've looked thru the first couple of pages in the forum to no avail.
