First off, hello to everyone. This is my first post.*Squee!*
I tried to find any older post regarding my problem but to no avail, I apologize if I'm asking a question that's already been conquered.

Overview: I'm real a newbie when it comes down to the mechanics of a Yahoo! Store. A co-worker completed all the templates before leaving the company.

Today I did some simple updates mainly consisting of item additions and text changes. Checked things out, made sure everything was running nicely, then published the changes.
After publishing the changes I poked around some more and found no problems.

A couple of hours have passed and now the site's...a mess. Mostly blank pages are loading, however, some pages are working correctly (actually only 2: index and the first page of one of my sections) just fine but all the links point to these blank pages.

Specifics:

  • I logged into the Yahoo! Store and headed right for the editing area. Clicking on the advanced editing mode and landed in my contents bin. All of the files that are coming up blank ARE listed as being there, and the links refering to them (from my index.html) are accurate. So I'm not sure what, if anything to make of that.

  • Once I'm in my contents bin and attempt to open my index.html it'll open correctly sometimes, or other times display a blank page like the others are doing.

  • Also, if I'm editing my homepage then click for the "variables bin" a blank page will come up will no Yahoo! yellow control bars or anything.

  • I also just notice that if I check the source code for the blank pages, the correct html code is shown in notepad...yet nothing appears in the browser.

Woo hoo! I have no idea what's going on. :) I intend on calling Yahoo! Tech support, but I thought I'd throw up a post and see what some might think. Thank you for your time.

Hi Milo, welcome to the boards.

I haven't used the Yahoo store and this forum is mostly about ranking in Yahoo, but someone around here may be able to help. If not, tech support is your best option.

I have done some things with Yahoo stores but am far from an expert. I have had some very strange things happen. Unfortunately this response is not much help because I have always had to call support for the strange ones.

They don't have a very intuitive system.

This response does give me a chance to say

    Welcome to WebmasterWorld MiloCold :)
