Anyone else noticed any changeover?

Just checked some of our Inktomi click-thrus and a couple of them (both e-commerce sites) more than doubled after the 30th December.

After a quick check, I found most of our targeted keywords (currently found on MSN, etc) are now coming up trumps on Yahoo :-)

This makes up for the directory results being nuked from the default results.

Although I notice some of the keyword phrases (still doing well in MSN) are not showing at all. I think these are more competive phrases and I wonder if Google is still having an influence. If not, where elese are they getting the results?

Anyone else noticed this?

I am still showing only google results on yahoo in the US. Is your site in Inks PPC program?

Sorry, thought it was obvious I was talking about Inktomi paid inclusion.

So, only Inktomi PFI sites are getting a lift from Yahoo. Wasn't that exactly what was predicted by the good folks on here :-)

Getting back to my question though, can someone else with Inktomi paid pages do a quick search under a variety of phrases and tell me if you notice a difference in Yahoo SERPs. Is Google still ruling the roost on the more competitive stuff?

Not at the moment.

Google is ruling the roost, period (on my searches).

Sorry, I have many, many INK paid inclusion pages ranking well and can find nothing in Yahoo at the moment. You sure you are not confusing this with the recent Google update which showed about the time.

Stone me, looks like it's Google after all. I never even thought to check. When was the update?

But that still doesn't explain the sharp increase in Inktomi click-thrus all of a sudden.

Need to see those logs.
