Does Yahoo links count towards Google link popularity contest?

Yahoo just added 10 more links to my site. I was wondering if you know whether these links will be counted by Google.

Mine are counted, and show up when I search for my site - although many of the Y! category pages are lower PR than the pages they link to on my site. Every little bit helps, though.

Apart from paying 3,000 US buckaroos annually. does yahoo allow 10 listings/categories for one site? Or are they maybe not directory listings or listings from other sections like news and guides or groups etc?

Just a hint...

They are links to my PC hardware reviews. Yahoo has a LOT of PC hardware review categories, ranging from MP3 player to monitor. If Yahoo link to all my reviews, I would get over 700 links. Tech sites, especially digital photography, have an easier time getting links...

maybe not 10 links to the root domain, but I think 100 links to different parts of the site is fine.

Just look at CNET... too many links LOL

I think I will get 30 by the end of this month, although I hope for 60 links.

great tip thanks irok.. We got a dozen or so links when y! decided to link to our news site in their news sections. Thought it may be the same kind of thing! Hard to tell for us how much they are "worth" but we get quite a few direct referrals from them.
