Ok I know very little about this submission business, at the moment my site <snip> gets aprox 20-40 visitors per day, very very little. However, I do seem to rank high in google when you type in "free sfx" or similar terms.
To get to the point is it worth to pay $299 or approx $600 australian to get my site submitted into yahoo, could I expect thousands of hits if accepted?

At the moment my site seems to be slowly growing through the services of submission site.

If anyone could please help, for I am far from an expert in site promotion!

Hi Digital, welcome to WebmasterWorld.

Is your site a commercial site? Or are you offering a free product?

Well it offers free resources and high quality resources you can pay for. Which means I have to pay for submission. but what will it do for my site?

Digital, if I were you I'd wait to see what Yahoo does with the purhcase of Inktomi, and that might help you decide how to proceed.
