YPN ignoring me?

Busy established site

Site gets around 200,000 hits a month +/-, so not huge, but decent sized. Growing rapidly. Good content. I've owned the domain since the 90's. (I can put adsense on the site, but for a variety of reasons very specific and individual to my situation, Yahoo is a much better option.)

YPN won't respond to my attempts to register with them for the publisher network. THey're just simply ignoring me.

Any way to get in the door? This is frustrating.

You can't really do anything. I have heard some people say they've waited 3 months before getting accepted. It took me around 3 weeks, but this was when it first started.

Also, if you ever do get accepted, add some sort of filtering script to only allow US viewers to see the ads.

And finally... the only email I have gotten from YPN was the acceptance one. Through all my questions for them... I never got an email back. They have horrible customer service when it comes to email.

So basically, the only thing you can do is keep waiting, sorry.

YPN's customer support is superb. I've always received a message back from them - often in the same day and always within 24 hours.

Leva, could it be that Yahoo thinks you are somehow connected to their big competitor Google (because of that sharp domain-name of yours).
Or perhaps they think you brake trademark rules (again because of your domain).
Some domain-names are so fantastic that they might become a handicap;-)

If they were somehow concerned with quality (hard to even type that near the words yahoo ypn), crap sites using ypn serving mortage ads to teenagers looking for video game cheats wouldn;t be so wildly abundant...

Anyhow, on point - ypn is awful in terms of response time. One site took weeks to get in. They are ignoring one of my major sites as well - if they didn;t like it they prolly wouldn't want to hard code it as well as rank it so well on their own. It produces solid rev and has major traffic. I have never recieved a response after applying.

Seems they are about as quick as the overture editors :(

Surely they cannot wonder why google kicks their arses so badly. Adsense takes about 3 seconds to sign up for and can even deliver relevant ads! Amazing!
