US + Intl signup

Hi,

I just got YPN invite some days ago. I'm not in US but still I have a partner in US and the site has primarily US traffic. So here is a question:

When I signup should I better put my partner's name and SSN. Or I can signup with my name and change the owner (or the person who will get the checks) later. When I need to enter SSN and can I chenge it?

If it were me, I would not put my partners name or SSN. Yahoo keeps track of who was invited and who wasn't. How do I know? People who bought a signup on EBAY have gotten banned from the program for not properly getting chosen to participate.

Also, if you are not in the USA, why even bother? Is your site geared towards Americans? Clicks from IP addresses not located within the USA are discounted and if there are enough of them you could get banned from the program. If you do signup with your own name and a fake SSN, how will that work out for you? How will you recieve the money? I believe I have read somewhere that if you gain over $100 in a month you have a period of time before the check can be issued or you don't receive it... So what if the program doesn't go worldwide by the end of the time? You will be losing money...

So, I believe you are better off not taking any chances with this and just wait until it hits worldwide.

The site is in USA and for USA. I just manage it. But the owner of idea and main contributor in lives US and Europe.

If your partner is ok with accepting payments and paying tax. Then you should go ahead.

I am amazed at the number of international publishers who are accepted into YPN.

Well. The problem I see is monopoly of G. I don't mind for now. And I love G. But who knows what will happen. It may freeze your payment for example 'for your safety' as PayPal do it now.

So I see Yahoo as good alternetive.
