In those 6 days that page has earned over 20.00 with approx same amount of traffic and clicks. That's why I am testing my new site, (now that I have about 6 weeks to compare it with) and if that works out I will give them the whole site.
Clicks and earnings appear to be ahead of adsense but who knows how it would shake out if I had them on most pages....just have to gradually get my feet wet.
I put the www in the url to block as well as a / at the end. To get rid of florists I blocked both urls, ftd dot com/ and the same plus added goto and got rid of all of them.

Just cant get rid of those stupid flowers ad.
The florist ads are so annoying to so many of us. Why does YPN permit FTD to insert the backslash in its URL, making it effectively unblockable (for most of us who don't know the magic incantation)? What does YPN gain by aggravating the heck out of most of us in this way?
Is FTD paying Yahoo! a ton of money to allow this? Is all that money worth the bad impression this makes on both site publishers and site visitors?
The keyword I target is very competitive, so I don't know what the problem is, other than their "targeting category dropdown" doesn't specifically name my keyword.
Are you all having better luck with targeting if the category is specifically named in their "target dropdown?"
Is your main site the one that is targeting for you that you signed up with? How about your additional websites on other subjects, are they targeting for you too?
I have yet to embrace ad targetting. As of now, it has no use for any of my sites.
