I guess yahoo is noW about the launch a program for publishers. It is building an opt-in list of publishers.
if the site that was mentioned is the one I'm thinking of, they say "ads by yahoo".
One author of an interesting article seems to think yahoo will offer a defined percentage split. The same article said that, in other areas (print I suppose) where an agency brings the advertiser and publisher together, that agency typically gets only 15-20 percent.
I know, I know, people like to say that google pays out 70 odd percent to publishers. I don't think that's true for most small publishers, though, even for the ones who dominate their serps and are dead on with relevant content. If yahoo does offer transparency and an openly defined percentage, watch for many publishers to openly bolt from adsense
