Hello friends of SEO,

in the situation of a website under Wordpress from an SEO point of view and specially to avoiding duplicate content,
what strategy should be put in place? Is it necessary to put the pages in no Index?:
Category,
Tag,
Page/X/ ( archive)

Thank by advance!

The idea is that you want the pages indexed and the same page is used for category, archive and tag so you can submit a sitemap of pages and let Google decide whether to include all instances of the same page. Because Google understands WP duplication, as long as you include the canonical meta tag, it does not matter what instance of a page they index or don't index. It is one page for Google's concern. If you submit sitemaps of pages and category URLs it may appear you expect them to index multiple copies of the same content. That won't happen and it could hurt.
