I have a new site that is blocked from search engines. What could be causing my Pages to get redirected to a phantom folder /home-2/ that is not visible in the file structure? There are vague references online, but none that give me a solution.

Additional information: I deactivated all plugins and checked. The phantom path still exists.

Yes, but I found the culprit. In the Edit screen, under Page Attributes is this option on the right to show the "Parent" page. As I had pointed those pages to the home page, the URL gets 301d to /home-2/ - makes no sense to me why that is a feature. Thanks.
