How to stop bots on WordPress website?

I am seeing an unusual traffic ocming to my website and making my server down that cause my site to open after 5 minutes. Anyone please suggest me how can I stop this bots on my website.
Please help me out

There are several ways to deal with unwanted traffic. You don't mention what you have tried so we'll start by guessing that you haven't tried. For a beginner, it may be easiest to sign up for a free Cloudflare account and let them handle the bots.

Low rent shared hosting is usually the culprit when extra traffic takes your site down. I would look at your access logs if possible to make sure the cause is unwanted traffic. If it is human traffic then it may be time for better hosting.
