Deleting Menu Item Not working

I have a problem. I can't delete a menu item.

My steps:

1) Appearance>Menus
2) Clicked arrow on menu item I wished to delete
3) Clicked red "remove" button
4) Item disappeared from list

But the item is still on my site menu.

Anyone have this problem? Any solutions? Thanks!

Change your theme back to a standard one such as 2017 or 2018, it does not matter, and you should be able to change your menu. This is probably a theme issue.

If you have an issue such as this, chances are it is not WP but the chosen theme. Revert back to one of the standard WP themes usually solves the problem.

Could changing the theme cause any big issues? I'd usually have Dev do this kind of thing, but they take a long time and it's just a small change. I'd like to do it myself but don't want to screw up the whole site.

Are you hitting the "Save Menu" button after deleting the item?

Fixed.

I had to remove directly from the source using "Editor" in the WP theme.

Great! Coming back to this thread I was about to ask if you'd hit the underlying HTML and just edited it directly.
