Someone is trying to hack my website

Hello,

For the past few months, this IP address from Ukraine, is trying to login into my Wordpress website.

I'm getting notifications from my Wordpress security login:
16 failed login attempts (4 lockout(s)) from IP:

It's really annoying.

It's there a recourse ?

I put a really hard, super long password for my login.

When I first asked my ISP about what I could do about these intrusions, they said that the best thing to do is make sure you have a security plugin that blocks the attempts and then blocks their IP, and you have a strong password,. In addition to these recommendations, I would add that you should use htaccess to password protect your admin directory.

There really is no way to stop these jerks, my sites get 10-50 of them a day. After a while they move on to a more vulnerable site.
